Hello,

I recently purchased some OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) PC2-6400C5 memory (link). I bought a set two weeks ago from Overclockers and I just got it a static wrapping and it had timings of 5-5-5-18 on the sticker, I then ordered another set from Overclockers and this time it came in a little plastic OCZ box, and on the stickers of the modules it had timings of 5-4-4-15. I definitely ordered the same type of RAM. Does anyone else know the reason for the change, on the Overclockers webpage it says it still has timings of 5-5-5-18?

I don't really know much about RAM timings, so will this affect me in any way?

Thank you.

Ohh, thanks for the help. I always presumed the higher the timings the better...but like I said I am not the most knowledgeable about RAM, and I could not really find anything on the net.

So...OCZ have just upgraded the RAM then?
