In the last couple of weeks when i switch my computer on sometimes it wont boot and the psu fan would spin very fast until i shut it down. Most of the time a reboot would sort it. Now it wont boot at all, i just get the fast fan spin and no boot. I tried a 450w from my sons pc and it booted first time so im convident its the psu.

Well i have just ordered a 8800GTS 512 yesterday aswell. Just can't get worse timing than that.

I can't return it under warranty as the warranty sticker peeled off a few weeks after owning it, also i had the cover off to clean the dust out a few months back.

Anyone else had bad experiences with these psu's?

Also i now have a budget of £60 for a new psu excl delivery, any ideas?

Have a post over at their forums http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/index.php , they were very helpful when i was having problems with mine. Also mention about the warranty sticker peeling off, you never know they might say it doesn't matter *touch wood*

I thought about that but after having the screws out aswell to clean inside they will know because they are marked (paint missing).

how about the corsair series

I have ordered a Corsair as you suggested, i have ordered THIS ONE

It has very good reviews and 5 year warranty.
