Had a question on this, my memory arrived which is the OCZ Gold 3x2GB 1600mhz now it says on it that it will run at 8-8-8-24 @ 1.65v however my motherboard which is a Asus P6T Deluxe in bios i have set to auto at the moment not sure what it running at. However my question is that in the motherboard manual says that any dimms running over 1.65v will damage the cpu. Is this right also how do i set the voltage to the right amount as the DRam bus voltage only goes up in 0.02v intervals meaning it will be either 1.64v or 1.66v. Im guessing it wont make a difference but is there anything else i need to change. i dont want to damage my i7 cpu.

Cheers

1.66v is fine. Also, IIRC, in the newer BIOS, ASUS fixed this to show 1.65v. Do you have the latest BIOS.
