As title. I've got some geil 6400 here, that doesn't want to overclock at all. I reckon its to do with the DS3/micron chip bug meself and I'm thinking about trying some other memory. I've had OCZ meory in the past and had absolutely no probs at all with it and was wondering if theres anyone here with any info on their DDR range? I'm looking at the OCZ 6400 4-4-4-12 stuff (the cheapest) btw. :)

I've just bought some PC2-6400 Dual Channel Platinum Revision 2 XTC Series DDR2 for my new 6300. Should be with me tomorrow so I can see how well it does and let you know. :)

The Geil uses Elpida chips and not Micron (assuming you're not using the CAS3 stuff).

And the DS3 had major problems with the OCZ when the DS3 first came out. I'm not sure if it has been fixed as very few ppl opted for the OCZ after seeing the non-boot problems.

Are you using a DS3 with it? If so I'd be interested in your results.
