OCZ DDR3 timings

I have OCZ 4GB DDR3 PC3-10666C7 1333MHz Platinum (4x1GB) Dual Channel DDR3 (OCZ3P13332GK) and whenever I set the timings to 7-7-7-20 which is stock timings, my system crashes like mad, so I have to keep the timings on auto. RAM volts are at 1.9v, any idea's?

Can you be a bit more specific when you say 'crashes like mad'? Does the screen freeze up? Does a BSOD appear? etc.

Do they work enough for you to boot Memtest from a CD and run it?

What motherboard are you using?

My motherboard is an Asus P5E3, when I say it crashes, it just freezes within a a few moments of windows loading up at my desktop screen.

http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/ - Take a look at the OCZ forums for more specific help.

Have you tested each stick individually using memtest at 7-7-7-20? Try booting into windows using 2 sticks first if they all pass memtest.

And if you're using 4 sticks have you set CMD to 2T?
