OCZ Flex EX 1200Mhz Problems

Hi everyone,

I recently bought the OCZ Flex EX DDR2 1200Mhz 4GB Kit off OCUK and it's very unstable on my system, I can't get into windows with the rated speed, timings and voltage, I get a BSOD all the time.

I tried everything and it also comes up with memtest errors.

I have requested an RMA, what's everyone's views on it?

DO you have a X48 chipset ?

No I have an AMD 790FX chipset. An ASUS M3A79-T Deluxe board.

Up the voltages a bit and see if its better. OCZ probably come with an EVP anyway.

Tried that and a shoe lot of other things. Still a BSOD in windows all the time.

tried slackening the timings just to get it to boot? just to make sure it is the ram!

What command rate are you trying to use? What else have you set in the bios?

Yes I have. It gets to windows for about 10 mins then BSOD's again. Still it should work at it's rated timings.

I'm using 6-6-6-18 2t

I put the ram at 1066 Mode and changed my HT Frequency to 225 to get the ram to 1200Mhz

I then put my NB and CPU down to stock multipliers and raised my HT Voltage to 1.3v and my ram voltage to 2.22v
