2x 512MB sorry should have said.
Well my freind had these and he got a nice overclock with them allthough it doesont affect it that much as if you want you can just put it on a divider and I think that they can allso take more voltage than most other ram.

What sort of overclock? im hoping to get an good overclock out my 144 but for some reason my memory wont take it and i think if i underclock ram, its slower.

I have an Opteron 144 and i'm using some GeIL Ultra platinum pc4400/ddr550
and I have a DFI LanParty nF4 Ultra-D and I had it at 2.95Ghz but I am selling it all now as i'm going conroe.

If its the Gold VX kit with 2-2-2-5 timings then...

This is the kit I have in my P4 system...

unless you have a motherboard that can do 3+v vdimm then you will NOT be able to overclock these beyond 207MHz without the OCZ DDR BOOSTER... however if you can get 3.3-3.9v in your BIOS or have the OCZ DDR BOOSTER then you won't find any other DDR module that can match these for overclocking - mine do 2-2-2-5 timings at 250FSB (DDR-500) with about 3.4volts giving absolutely lovely speeds and the lowest latency I've ever seen - even below an FX62 or conroe... not that it makes a huge performance difference on a P4 tho.

Also these modules don't like other timings, i.e. slacking them to 3-4-4-8 won't give you any higher overclock than 2-2-2-5.

It's decent ram.

I've got mine 14 hrs (so far) memtesting at 3.2v with ultra ultra low timmings of 1.5-2-2-5 @ 250mhz (they're not even breaking a sweat - not one error so far!!) Every other timming in the bios is as low as physically possible.

I'm eventually gonna try to reach 275mhz below 3.4v once i've burned them in properly
