OCZ memory errors

I'm having trouble with my memory. I run a 8GB kit from OCZ from some time (a year or so) and I run it at "stock" speed and even at the specified voltage (2.1) but it's started to act strangely in some operations (git, for the developers, reports errors in it's SHA256 validated packets). The disk is fine.

Of course, memtest doesn't report any problems ! I even downclocked my system to stock 3.0Ghz to make extra sure, and it behaves the same!

What can I do ? does OCZ have "lifetime" support ?

Pop everything to stock and rum memtest on each stick individually, if they pass, use one and test it again on the other 3 ram slots to rule out a dodgy ram slot itself.

Sometimes with all 4 ram slots used you have to up the NB voltage to supply the power to them :)

We.l it's hard to beleive, but the problem happends /only/ when I run at stock speed. Same memory, same voltage, 4Ghz and it works fine !!

Doh :D

I have a couple of sticks of the Flex XLS stuff rated at 1150 speed. For the second time i have started getting BSOD errors and all sorts of problems and for the second time memtest came up with a bunch of errors on one of the sticks. Always in test 4 but not every time I run it.
OCZ do have a lifetime warranty so go to their site and open a ticket. It should get replaced ok. Personally I'm gonna try some nice fast Kingston this time and see how it goes.

Just Memtested my 6gb kit at 1600Mhz and got tons of errors. Passed at 1000Mhz but I'm not having that.

Going to give Oc a ring tomorrow to rma :), I might grab some patriot instead if anyone knows if its good?
