I have an OCZ 780W ModXStream PSU and have been using it happily for some time. However, I've purchased an ATI 4890 GPU and am being buffetted by headwinds...
That is, I don't have a spare 6 pin connector available to plug into the second power connector on the graphics card. I have a spare cable with an 8-pin male ended connector but can't find any cable adaptor that is 8-pin female to 8-pin male. I also can't find any modular psu expansion cables available anywhere that I can buy - seeing as my PSU is modular, which is the idea after all.
I'd appreciate any comments/guidance other users can offer to help me resolve this cos right now I'm getting nowhere fast.

p.s. I'm beginning to think this modular PSU angle is a waste of time. Without readily available spares/expansion cables it's value is greatly restricted.
