I'm looking at either the OCZ StealthXStream 2 600W or the BeQuiet Pure Power L7 530W. Both of the specs seem good to me but I don't wanna skimp out on a new PSU!
Rest of the spec will be :

Athlon II X4 640 @ 3.6Ghz
4Gb XMS3 DDR3
GTX260 Core 216
Xfi xtrememusic
2 SATA 7200rpm HDD's and a Bluray drive.

Any other recommendations are welcome, cheers. :)

Easy.

BeQuiet.

Reasons:

  1. Much quieter
  2. More efficient
  3. More amps on the 12v rail
  4. Made by a better company
  5. OCZ are supposedly pulling out of the PSU and RAM sectors - this worries me, even if OcUK say they will maintain RMA processes etc

I have the OCZ and its great, but the BeQuiet does have awesome reviews, and as Cookeh said the fact that OCZ are pulling out is a tad worrying. But seeing as I only paid £43 Im not gonna complain :)

Well those are great reasons for me to chose the BeQuiet!
£42.98 is what OcUk are selling it for so I'll probably be making a visit later on today to pick one up!

have you look at the Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 650W V2 High Performance or Corsair Builder Series CX 600W ATX Power Supply both good psu

I had a nighmare with my last OCZ psu...the coils would screen under high GFX load, RMA'ed and the replacement did the same...Europe support was CRAP...in the end went to US support, after 3 months of pain, they sent me a 120GB SSD as a replacement. I went for an Enermax PSU, but would NEVER reccomend a OCZ psu to anyone...

Wrong! OCZ have pulled out of the RAM market, but they are focusing on the PSU market. They have a few new products coming soon so this confirms your gossipmongering is totally off the mark.:rolleyes::rolleyes:
