Hi All

Just a quick one...

If i get 4gig of OCZ PC2-8500 1066MHz SLI-Ready Edition to go with my Conroe Quad 2.66 rig (coming soon) I should just be able to match the ram with the FSB and up the multi to 3gig without much trouble?
And also how does the OCZ fare against the Dominator Ram ? apart from the look of course. :p

Thanks

Yes, the PC8500 stuff will allow any conroe to reach 3Ghz comfortably. Bear in mind that you might be able to get a better kit for your money (don't be lured by the SLi branding), take a look at some kits based on Micron D9GMH/D9GKX here: http://ramlist.ath.cx/ddr2/

Thanks for that really good list :), it seems the PC6400C4D DOMINATOR and the OCZ PC8500 SLI-Ready Edition are on good chips and the G-skill...

I dont really like the SLI band on the memory anyway it will make it harder to sell, but they do seem ok for the money.
