OCZ PC6400 This Week Only

Might give that one a miss.

You know I did a bit of digging, these can be had for $168 in the US which is our price in pounds. :(

Hi there

I find that so hard to believe, sorry.

The US have little advantage over the UK when it comes to memory pricing in general for the basic fact that memory is sold worldwide and as such you don't have a Euro and then a US version. One for all!

I've looked and all the US sites and cheapest for this same 2GB kit is $210 plus any taxes and thats after mail in rebates. As these are companies such as Zipzoomfly, Tiger and Newegg who are amongst the biggest out their and one of OCZ's biggest customers I fail to see how any other US company could be selling this kit cheaper.

Either you have or a US site has made a mistake, but if there truly is a site selling these at $168, email me the link, I shall buy 5000 at an even better price and then sell them to all you lot at a great price. :)

It's some special offer OCZ have got on at the moment, it's done through a rebate, not quite the same really as $170 (my bad I forgot to mention). It's still a good price don't get me wrong, it's just a feature of living in this country :(

edit: Pretty sure it was the 2gig, will have a dig around to check. Have been up very early this morning so it's a good chance i'm wrong. I will hold my hands up if I am :o

Gibbo - just out of curiousity what's the best selling Micron memory (PC6400) that's being sold at the moment, and also do you know when you are getting any more of the G.Skill kits in (4-4-4-12 kits)? Tried to call the shop but was too late by the time I got home tonight :(

I won't name the retailer but it seems that last week it was on offer for $168 with a rebate on one of the sites you mentioned, but it's not that price now :(. I had that figure in my head after reading a forum but didn't actually go away and check the price so I hold my head in shame :o

Just had a hunt around on one of the forums and a guy mentioned that he got 940mhz out of this, not bad really!

There are very few reviews on this memory on the web, i'm tempted but i'm considering waiting for the G.Skill.

I don't ever buy products from America, it was just when I saw the deal of the week I thought hmmm, new Core 2 Duo :D So I went digging and found a posting about this deal, but nevermind, will be picking my order up from you guys on Saturday, so there best be plenty of E6600s and BadAxe2s in :D Oh and hopefully that G.Skill will be in! hehe

If you want the name of the retailer and I can let you know, then maybe that can give you some leverage with OCZ mwuhahahaha :D
