OCZ Platinum PC2-6400 EL XTC 2048MB

I was thinking of buying this RAM to go with a 6600 conroe and an asus P5B. I'm only intending to raise the FSB to 400 so I won't be taking the memory past spec. I'd like to check compatability and also does anyone know why this is so cheap (£150 inc. Vat) is it a massive step down from the geil or the g-skill?

Hi there

The OCZ is not cheap its just who ever manages it has forgot to increase pricing or is yet to buy in stock, as that memory trade is now about that price, maybe even more. My suggestion is buy it whilst you can as soon it will be £200+VAT.

Lol. Too late. The store had a problem accepting my card so I thought scr*w it and bought the geil from OCUK.
Kudos for being so honest GIbbo.

Me too, must bite the bullet and buy Geil. Just wish i had brought it instead of my X1800XT the other week and saved myself £40.
