OCZ Platinum vs OCZ Gold

Which is the better ram to buy?

OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC3200 Dual Channel Platinum Series EL-DDR CAS2 (OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K) (MY-057-OC) @ £146.82 Including VAT

or

OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC3200 Dual Channel Gold GX XTC Series EL-DDR CAS2 (OCZ4002048ELGEGXT-K) (MY-059-OC) @ £164.44 Including VAT

I can get the Gold version for £135 so would this be the better buy?

The Platuinum has slightly tighter timings.

The Platinum is the 2GB kit I have and am very pleased with it.

I'd go with the platinum, its got the best timings and clocks well

It just got me confused that on ocuk the gold version is £18 more expensive. I think i'll go for the platinum then

I think the platinum is more recent an addition to OcUK, so its came in at a really competitive price.
