such awful service lol

Do all OCZ PSU RMAs still have to go direct to Holland? That alone was enough to put me off........

Now i am p****d off, just put my replacement PSU in my system, and its got the same problem...Make's HIGH PITCHED noise when graphics are running. I know its not my system, as it ONLY happens with this type of PSU...OCZ you have now lost a customer, will NEVER buy any OCZ product.

Can anyone recommed a good PSU that will run 2 x GFX 480 in SLI maybe a 1000Watt or 1200Watt ???

Thx

Posted in the US forums of OCZ, and was told this is a known problem with high end GFX cards and OCZ are not the only ones affected.

Well now OCZ US, are going to send a new PSU (one with the fix), to EUROPE, then send to myself, and collect the faulty one a few days later.

Maybe in the future we should go via the US forums to get better customer service...
Let see what the furture brings...Will keep u updated...

I thought they had something called a ocz powerswap? where they sent a new or repaired one on a collection service?

Obviously not a swap service as such by the replies :(

well this has just made me sad, since i got two dead Reaper RAM modules awaiting RMA. only got OCZ because people said their customer service was good, etc. best company i have had to deal with is EVGA, they were helpful and rather speedy with my 8800GTS RMA. not to go off topic but what happens if my 8800GTS dies again? i mean they come with what, ten year warranty so its still under warranty, but they don't make 8800GTS anymore do they?

I was taken aback my this as well, but hoping all works out in the end. But when you pay over 180 UK pounds for a PSU, you expect it to work...And then OCZ admit to a known problem in there forums, you would expect them to go beyound the call of duty.
