OCZ PSU RMA - How long did it take

I think there turn around is pants...I was told there was a 2 week wait, due to them being out of stock...And they make the PSU.

But the worst i had was BFG, and will NEVER buy them again...

I had this issue with THREE OCZ PSU's. Luckily I noticed it straight away and was able to return each one to the retailer.

I am now a very happy owner of a quiet Antec.

Things like this is what annoys me about consumer kit.

Our Dell desktops at work, replacement part within 24hrs. Our Dell servers at work, replacement part within 4hrs. Proper service! :D

Like everyone's finding over in the DGM monitor thread, yeah so what that the product has a 3yr warranty if the service then takes aaaaaaages.

I think OCZ warrenty / turn around in EU sucks, still waiting for them to replace my Gold rated PSU. Brought in Nov 2009, and not fully used yet...a total waste of money, as soon as they fix my PSU i will sell it and NEVER buy any OCZ product again...

They offerd me a diffennt psu, a lower rated Wattage and Silver, made by a company they took over, told them where to stick it...

It was only after i posted in there US forums did things start to move, and they ADMITTED there was problem with this make of PSU.

In the end i went for a Enermax, and its been solid...

I have had nothing but good service from ocz.

Two sets of reaper died, back within a fortnight. Now older and wiser, im fairly sure i was to blame for the first set. Presumably they knew this from diagnostics, but they replaced it regardless.

One of their psus failed too. Red light came on one day, no damage to any components as far as i can tell. They collected it by courier, then a week later, a much better pc p&c turns up. Cant fault that anywhere.

I would love to buy another psu from them, but i think this one's going to last forever. It's now crudely watercooled and has survived discharging mains ac into me half a dozen times.

Finally, when i thought id broken this one, having thoroughly voided the warranty, they offered to collect it for repair or to send me replacement parts foc to repair it myself.

I cannot fault the company anywhere. Long live ocz.

After Months of talking with OCZ, they have exchanged my PSU for a 120GB SSD.
In the end i brought a new psu from Enermax. So asked OCZ for a SSD, as if they did return me a working PSU i would not be using it.

So i am happy at last...
