OCZ psu's

well I don't think they use Japanese caps or use double ball bearing fans (which increases the life span) so if u have the money I would get something better, but if u dont i think they are fine. Hardware secrets reviewed them and seemed to like them.

Any reason not to buy an OCZ PSU?

I had a bad encounter with them i bought a 500 watt ocz psu for my first build and ten seconds after switching my comp on it blew!.I never did bother to rma it, I just bought a 800watt corsair psu to replace it.
Don't think i will buy anything from them again.

I had an early Modstream years ago, nothing wrong with it, and i believe its still going strong in whoever's pc that bought it from me in the MM.

Had a Modxstream for a couple of years and had no problems with it whatsoever, and it is still going strong in one of my friends now.

The main problem is that they only go up to 700w - but there is a new range of PSU's coming next month which are higher wattage.
