OCZ Reaper 9200

Hi. I've got a set. Were very happy at 1200Mhz with 2.2v 5-5-5-15. However I've since managed to push my E6600 to 3.75Ghz (from 3.6) and the ram would have to do 1260Mhz+ and mine can't. Put 2.35v through them but failed prime blend in under a minute. Not putting any more volts through them. The next divider down is about 1050Mhz, making these modules a bit pointless. Somebody else on the forum has a set at 1250Mhz with 2.3v at 5-5-5-15, which is very good going. Think the Crucial Ballistix that are on special offer this week might be a better option, given they appear to overclock very well to near if not matching the OCZ Reaper 9200 top speeds. I'm considering selling mine and getting 4gb of Crucial Ballistix myself instead. On the plus side, i do think the OCZ Reaper modules look great!

It doesn't tell you what the divider ratios are in the P5K-Deluxe bios, just a list of possible speeds you can run the memory at, depending on your FSB. I was at 2:3 at 1200Mhz. It's at 4:5 now 1042Mhz. FSB is 417 at present so my ram needs to do 1251Mhz but it's not having it sadly. Got a Vantec 80m fan cooling the sticks too. Big difference between 1251Mhz and 1042Mhz. I'm underclocking my ram currently, that's sad!
