Hi all
(forgive me im a noob when it comes to memory)
At the moment im having the dreaded BSOD fest…..
Well I currently have my Q6600 clocked to 3807 with a FSB of 423 and a voltage of 1.50v although its only using 1.485 in CPU-Z (the vid on this chip is 1.315 so I was unlucky)
I have managed to clock this chip to 4 ghz but it will crash when opening games which leads me to think it is a memory fault / problem.
When I drop the clock to 3.8 I stopped getting the crashes although it will now crash after about 10 - 15mins of Arma 2 or another intensive game.
My memory is the DDR2 Reaper HPC 6400 I think
Its running at 400mhz in cpu-z
1:1 in the bios
1.8v on auto
NB is set to auto
Timings were all werid something along the lines of: 6-6-8-24 or 6-6-8-19 on or the other??
Should I try manually changing this to 5-5-5-18?
my mobo is a MSI NEO 2FR its good but not the best as it dosent have many fine tuning settings.
