OCZ Stealthxstream 400W?

do you think it's as good as the OCZ?

the thing I love about the OCZ is the warranty service is excellent... and I've read reviews on the 400W StealthXstream and they say it's built using very good components... I'm not sure about the Corsair though...

id better read some reviews i guess... what do you think? like can you "sell" it to me lol

Corsair have a superb reputation for building quality PSUs. They are a very good solid make. I myself am a big fan of OCZs but corsair are certainly as good if not better, just corsair tend to be more expensive.

I have nothing against ocz i have one their psu in my spare rig and its great no bother at all, however i would not give it another thought getting that corsair over it chaper with great customer service. Yellowbeard the corsair rep pops on here everynow and again to help out i dont see ocz do that :p

•One 60cm 4+4-pin EPS 12V CPU cable
it has this that the OCZ doesn't have (ocz only has a 4 pin)... that's a good thing :)

oh and also it has twice as many connectors (2 molex cables and 2 sata cables as opposed to 1 of each on the OCZ as far as i remember)

i read a comment about the noise at full load, and i'll be running it very close to full load... :(

hmm... yea it seems the build quality is good from what reviews are saying and the fact that i know seasonic have great build quality and apparently this is based on the S12... so that's great

the only thing drawing me towards the OCZ is less cables and less noise... which is actually what im after considering right now i have the PC Power and Cooling Turbo Cool 1200W which is like one of the best PSUs money can buy but it's damn noisy and wayyyyy too many cables! i only need the ones that connect to the motherboard and 1 GFX connector and 4 SATA connectors... nothing else!

*sighs*... i dont know... i'll look into the corsair noise problem and if it isnt too bad then i'll buy it :)

thanks for the help guys :)
