just wondering if this PSU is a good buy? since its on "This week only" offer.

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-023-OC

Its going into my system:
Intel Core 2 Due E6300 (3.01ghz)
Gigabyte GA-965P S3
2gb ocUK PC2-6400C5 800mhz
Unknown graphics card (possible x1950Pro or 8600 GT)
1 DVD writer
1 250gb SATA HD
1 80gb IDE HD

thoughts on this PSU, and if it will be a good buy for my system?

Yes, it's quite good. IIRC It's made by Seasonic who also make the Corsair PSUs I love so much. :)

Is your system purchased yet or is this a theoretical rig?

Got one here, Best PSU I've owned, only had it 2 weeks as well ;P Plenty of connection too many in fact! Nice braded cables and more importantly it powers my system with ease havent had any stutters etc, oh! its nice and quite aswell :)

I paid £60 for mine so thats a good price also :)

yeah, the system is my main rig. it's here next to me, I've RMA'd my x1950Pro, which will be replaced next week hopefully, but I need a new PSU to go with it, as I dont trust my old 460W PSU anymore. (I've RMA'd 2 graphics cards so far in my system, so I don't want to take any chances)
