OCZ StealthXStream clicking?

Thought i hadn't heard that noise before.. Really low persistent clicking noise.

Took the side off, killed numerous fans (Figured it would be the cheap case fan or AC7) and have narrowed it down to the PSU. It's the only other thing with a moving part so unless i have Barry White crickets hiding behind my motherboard, i'm 99% sure.

Anyone had this problem? I know it's not an expensive PSU but it's only a month or so old.. OCZ good with returns? I'm using my PC a LOT at the moment for numerous photoshop works, and really can't be without it for a couple of weeks..

Spec, if it helps..

Q6600
Asus P5K-E Wifi
4GB Geil Black Dragon
8800GT
250GB WD Caviar HD
Optiarc DVD-RW
600W OCZ StealXStream PSU

Many thanks folks.

Well it went away for a while but now it's back.

Bumping this for help, anyone? I noticed a post from someone the other day mentioning dodgy OCZ PSU fans. Is this a common problem?

It got annoying so I bought a 620 corsair and have the ocz to my brother for a more silent computer :)
From experience OCZ have amazing RMA department, when I broke one of my modular wires for PCI-e thing, they sent a new one out first class free of charge :)

If anything this appears when the computer is under load, not from cold. It's intermittence is the most annoying thing. I could probabaly get used to it if it were there all the time!

May have to go the Corsair route myself, don't think it's too much to ask it to just work. When it doesn't click it seems like a very nice PSU! Unfortunately no brother to easily hand off parts too!

Its been happening for over a year on mine, it only happened after I took my PC to uni and must have dropped it. I think I might have damaged a fan, so when it starts to spin up it makes a noise, and then it cools and stops, and then spins up and stops ad infinitum..

Actually, if I remember correctly, this happened to my laptop... although, it wasn't the PSU obviously but the fan to the side. It would click pretty loudly. I gave it a bang out of frustration and it resumed normal practise.

Sometimes the caveman way works.
