Getting weird black screens randomly which results in my system rebooting.

Tried removing my overclock, everything at default on ram and CPU. Still persists, it can even happen when in BIOS so presumably it has nothing to do with the SSD/HDD.

Now heres the weird thing. If I turn the power off and pull cables out, replug the 6pins into the GPU, the system may work for another 3-4 days. Maybe 5 days max before the issue comes back.

This didn't used to happen when I had my 780 before the 980, and was fine for quite a while after getting my 980.

I lowered the v core also and that seemed to fix what I thought may have been the problem, which again made me think the issue was power. But it started doing it again.

Time to RMA it? Also I hear OCZ went bust so where am I going to send this off to? :o :(

System Specs:

P67A-UD4-B3
i7 2600k 4.5Ghz
1866Mhz Corsair Vengeance 16gb DDR3
Sound Blaster ZXR
Vertex 2 SSD

EVGA 980 SC Edition.

Presumably the PSU line fizzled out because they were ****?

Wonder if anyone else recently had had issues with this line of PSU as they have aged etc..

But then again with the issues I have listed, it really it hard to just outline whether it is the PSU or possibly something else. Like I say the 980 seems fine but it is strange how it started happening a few weeks after I put it in the system.

I'm sure I read on here recently somebody RMA'd their OCZ PSU and had to send it somewhere in America. Cost them a lot to do so aswel :(

Yeah I have started getting random reboots while gaming with my ocz zx 1000. Going to try and rule everything else out tonight before I start picking a new psu

No i spoke to soon and it is the psu, the shutdown problems still keep happening. Just ordered a evga supernova g1 1000 and cant wait to take this ocz one out.
