Hey all,

Currently have a 2gb MSI 560 Ti Twin Frozr II that will happily run at 980core / [email protected]. It'll also run fine at 999mhz / 1002 or [email protected].

The minute I try 1ghz or above on the core, my fps in any benchmark or game drops to the low single digits, regardless of vcore or memory

Using afterburner 2.2.0 beta15 to set the clocks, and the latest Forceware beta.

Temps are fine - 72-73c in Heaven & Crysis 2 - and power mode in the drivers is set to performance.

Haven't had a NVidia card for a few years, so is there anything I might be missing that could be causing this?

If you FPS is falling of cliff that would suggest your card is clocking itself down to stop it from overheating. If I were you I would ease back the overclock and see if that stops the card from having to lower it's clockrate.

It doesn't overheat. Highest it reaches is 72-73c.

It's when I go 1mhz above 999mhz the fps plummets for some odd reason.

When the 3d scene starts in Heaven, etc...the temp is still in the low to mid 40's, but the fps is single digits.
