Hi all,
I've rather an odd issue, I am running a Win 7 64bit PC in the office upstairs, this is connected to a Netgear DG834G v3 router with a cable.
I ahve been trying for months on and off to get various 360's connected from downstairs to stream video/music.
The 360 downstairs can connect to the internet fine, connects to live fine but will not find the PC and nor will the PC find the 360. Pinging the 360's IP address come back with 4 lost packets.
Now, I have several 360's knocking around and spotted someone saying that they had a similar issue but it works when connected via cable to the router. So, in the office I plugged my other 360 in to the router via cable. Within 5 minutes I had found the 360, configured media centre.
Bought the 360 from downstairs upstairs, again, finds it straight away. Problem is I can't connect via cable downstairs and want to use the TV for it.
Has anyone got any advice???
