Odd account balance issue - credit rating impact?

I have a Starling account which I often transfer money to/from my main account. Recently, I transferred some money, paid for something in Euros and some flights (the flights were £480.37) before transferring money back to my main account.

Today, I checked my account and saw it was -£0.61. I spoke to customer services and they said it could be an offline charge (e.g. TFL) but there won't be any credit rating impact if the account ended with a balance >0.

I haven't setup an overdraft with Starling either.

The customer services rep said to check the statement which I have done, and I can see the 'End of Day Account Balance' is £479.76 (whereas the displayed balance is -£0.61)... What do you get when you do [End of Day Account Balance] - [Flights]?

You get £479.76 - £480.37 = -£0.61

So my question is will this affect my credit rating? It has been -£0.61 since the 28th December, however, the 'End of Day Account Balance' shown in my statement is obviously greater than 0 because the flights, for some reason, have not been accounted for in the statement?

TL;DR Displayed balance has been -£0.61 since 28th December, 'End of Day Balance' shown on the statement is £479.76 with flights of £480.37 not reflected in the statement yet. Will this affect my credit rating?

I don't think that will affect your rating. The end of day balance was in credit.

I hope it won't. I guess it boils down to if the rating agency takes the available balance or current balance and if nominal amounts of -0.61p have any impact at all.

I don't think it works like that. I think it's up to the bank to tell the credit agency you defaulted (which they won't in this case). The credit agency won't have access to your account balance.
