Had this for awhile, and just worked around it :x

if the pc has been off for more than a few hours, first time it boots up, windows crashes, ive checked it with memtest and its scrolling errors like crazy.

turn pc off, then back on again, and its fine :x. thats what ive been doing for ages :/ (no errors in memtest after off/on cycle)

motherboard is a msi p67 gd65 B3, (had shipped bios, updated it last night to 1.B)

memory is OCZ Special OPS 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (OCZ3SOE1600LV4GK)

In bios the memory settings look the same on a cold boot as on a hot boot

any ideas?

notsure how easily i could test it, as it seems like it takes along time to reset/defualt to its error producing state, and the motherboard resets ram stuff when you swap sticks in and out :x

mobo might not be too happy as ive got 4 sticks

gonna set the ram manualy now, and see if it works in the morning
