So a little while back I had an issue with windows and I ended up in my BIOS. In the course of sorting the windows issue I noticed that my BIOS settings where set to "normal" rather than "performance", so I switched it over to "performance", because well, why not!
Now I can't honestly say if it was right after I did this or soon after but I now get a situation where I start the rig, it all spins up etc but nothing on the screen for a couple of seconds, then the whole thing stops, turns off, like I've hit the power button, and sits like that for a few seconds. After a few seconds have passed the rig starts up again by itself and carries on its merry way.
I've had this for a little while now but I'm not sure it's right? What are everyone's thoughts on this please?
I should mention it's a Asus PBZ68-V mobo and was part of an OCuK PC build so has the OcUK profiles etc being loaded in the BIOS
