Odd corrupted letter e in Lion

Not sure what's going on here but it only happened today.

Notice the vertical line in some instances of e in this dialogue.

I've not seen it in the Finder but it has shown up in some other apps, e.g. TextEdit.

Anyone know what's going on?

I had a similar problem once and resolving duplicates in Font Book sorted it - no idea if yours is the same issue, but:

Open font book, select All Fonts. Go to Edit > Look for Enabled Duplicates and then hit Resolve Automatically if there are any duplicates.
