When I set the FSB to 425 in the Bios for 3.4Ghz on my E6400 all of my monitoring software reads the total CPU frequency to be 3392 GHz instead of 3400 
, yet everything adds up again if i go to 450FSB for instance for 3.6Ghz or even 400FSB for 3.2Ghz, Why is this ?
Heres what i mean:
