Odd CPU speed change!!

I dont know why its happened but it's definately not me as i've tested in heaven.

I had until now been running my 2500k on the stock cooler which on heaven it reached about 60c max.
I've jsut this morning switched it to my pond pump/mondeo car rad/15gallon tap water system and it now maxes out at 28c (stock speed + 2x gtx470 oc in loop)

It also feels much! much! faster and more responsive than before, does throttling kick in at lower temps?

(all hdd's etc are in same ports, nothing but cooling changed)

its possible it could have been throttling back, but +3 for the pics

The likelihood of 'seeing' a speed difference in normal operation of a few hundred mhz is slim, plus if its topping out around 60 in heaven benchmark then normal operation would be even less, so i doubt its throttling.

Did you accidentally install an SSD at the same time?
When you say you've tested in Heaven, what was different?

Also if youre getting 28 degrees max, overclock it
