Ok so this is incredibly weird and I can't diagnose the problem.
Well firstly when it's warm weather and someone makes an outgoing or we receive an incoming call the internet connection is stable.
However,
When lets say it has been raining a little to a lot, when someone rings or receives a phonecall the moment the phone is answered the connection goes dead.
The weirdest thing yet is the connection will be displayed as 7560 upstream for a few minutes while no access to the internet is possible, then it will go to "negotiating". It's definately not the filters as this only occurs when it's raining.

My MTU is at 1500 so not sure if i need to decrease this, im using a direct connection to the router aswell as a wireless connection on chan 10.

Status when it's been raining
----------------------------
Modem Status Connecting
DownStream Connection Speed 0 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed 0 kbps
VPI 0
VCI 38

however shortly after i regain connection i will have an awefully slow connection heres some more details:

Connection speed downstream is 1824kbps upstream 768kbps
line attenuation 35db up and 23db down
noise margin is 9.5db up and 9.0db down.

Details look fine. Does it ONLY happen when raining and your 100% sure of that? If so it looks like a physical issue maybe. Might be an idea to test the physical line somehow or switch over the micro filter

Yes 100% positive, had this issue for a few months. Got new microfilters changed some things around and still the same, even used the test socket. We have an older Fax/Tel in the same line so I even removed the Fax/Tel from the socket and used another phone and the same issue occured.
Could it be a fault in the telephone wire itself?

Possibly. One thing to check is WHERE it is actually disconnecting, i.e. the router and not the PC. Maybe borrow another router if at all possible and test it out (maybe swap with a friend for a little while). Chances are if it happens still then it may be a line issue with water getting in somewhere or a dodgy cable, cant see it being much else. As to where it is I do not know. Maybe ring your line provider and see if they can do a line test to see if they can detect any issues.

Where it is disconnecting? It is clearly losing dsl sync?

If your net dies when you answer the phone only when it is raining it will be a line fault and nothing else. Call service provider.

What do you connect at normally? What stats do you get then? Since the line stats you have given are extremely poor for *any* ADSL connection with 30~ attenuation.

MTU would have nothing to do with a stable sync rate.

Check for any crackling (which there most likely is) and report this fault to your voice line providers faults line (not your ISP faults line). DO NOT mention theres a broadband fault otherwise you'll more than likely do a few laps round india.

Once the voice line issue is resolved, this should stop your disconnections.

We used to have crackling on the line reported it they came around checked out said there was no issue billed us came round a second time said they it was their issue refunded us but never did anything about it. So I will ring them up again and sort it out, cheers all for your help!

If you're on ADSL2+ you should be getting a far higher sync than that with 30~ attenuation. Expect 10,000 +

It worries me that you say between 3 - 7. Your sync rate should very rarely move - and if it does, it should not move by that much!
