Hi Guys
Some of you may know the restriction on file names in Windows, where they cannot have the name of a reserved DOS device ("CON", "NUL", "COM1" etc) - if you try to create or rename a file that you'll get an access denied...
However, it appears we CAN create files with these names when we access a folder through a share but not locally on the same server. This has come about because someone created a file called con.pdf, which caused massive problems with our replication software...
Can someone try it and see if you can create a file through a share with these names?
