Odd Fonts Problem

Hi guys,

I turned my PC off last night and upon turning it on today, half my fonts (on all programs like MSN, Firefox etc) have changed to Bold and/or Italic.
I have never seen this before and I have no idea what could cause it, the only thing I have recently installed is Steam(and I dont think that would do anything of this nature).

Im running Vista x64 Ultimate, no desktop or UI mods at all.

Any ideas? :confused:

Last time this happened to me,i used tweak UI to repair the fonts folder and it worked.

Thanks for the reply. It doesnt seem that Tweak UI is compatible with Vista in any form, so this doesnt seem to be an option

Have you adjusted the font size/options under Display/Appearance settings?

Nope, this just occured when I turned the PC on today, was fine when I switched it off.

System restore has fixed the problem but it would be nice to find out what happened

What was the last thing you installed? And did you install anything before you shut the machine down?

Just downloaded and installed Left 4 Dead, then turned it off.
