EDITED:
Running:
GTX 660 Ti
Z77
Intel i5
8gb Ram
Windows 7

All games running off a HD.

All drivers are up to date also.

While playing, any game so far, I often get a small freeze/stutter while I am playing. Seems to me it happens when something loads in, mostly explosions or particle effects but can't really pinpoint as it's not all the time, but often enough to annoy and cause gameplay disruption.

Any help is much appreciated.

Can't you rip the contents of the disk as a .ISO file and the mount it through something like Daemon tools?

if hes running windows 8
its built in the whole mounting stuff
not sure about ripping but am pretty such it does too

EDITED:
Am on Windows 7 sorry, and all the games are on

I have the games coming off of my HD. Is a Western Digital 1TB WD10EZRX.

Best examples that seem to me more consistant are in TF2, running around as soldier or demo and fire a shot into a close wall or enemy and I seem to get it more so then.

Run Memtest86+ and a CheckDisk.

Assuming these pass you could also try setting your Power Management settings in the Nvidia Control Panel to "Prefer Maximum performance".
