Hi all,
I've just noticed some odd behaviour with my graphics card and was wondering if anyone knows why it's happening.
I have a 6950 and am running 2 monitors from it, just setup as an extended desktop, not an Eyfinity group. I use the primary screen for gaming and normally have the second screen showing some system monitors or webpages. Normally when just at the desktop my gfx core clock speed is 450MHz and when I start a game it goes up to the proper 930MHz fine.
Last night however I noticed that if I have the BBC iPlayer running in my browser (Firefox) on the second monitor the clock instead runs at 500MHz with just Firefox open and if I start a game it only goes up to 750MHz? Obviously this is a bit of a pain as it's hurting my framerates in the games.
Any ideas why it's doing this and how I can stop it?
