Odd glitches on X1900XT?

I've recently put my system together, all latest driver etc. Cat 6.9s.

It's a Crossfire master card and I have it hooked up to 2 LCD monitors both via DVI.

Occasionally (maybe once an hour...probably less) one of the screen glitches for a fraction of a second...sort of like it loses sync or something. It never happens on both screens at the same time tho.

Any thoughts what could cause this?

heard about this problem before, an x1900 issue.
iirc i saw some very detailed posts over at the forums on www.rage3d.com or it might have been www.beyond3d.com
do a search and you might find a way of resolving it....

Yeah very odd this, i think its also got something to do with certain TFT's as well, as i used to have an old Hitachi jobbie that worked flawlessly, never ever had a flicker, but when it borked i got a Sony one, same drivers got the odd flicker on it, but when i installed the 6.9's, i didnt change the 3D Refresh Overide to Same As Desktop which i always do, i just left it on disabled, and ive never ever seen a flicker yet.
