Odd GPUz reading

Firstly, I didnt know if this would go in the GPU forum or this forum, but because I think its a faulty PCi slot, Ive put it in here.


Ater just updating my GPUz to the newest (0.6.6?), Ive noticed that its only reading that my PCi slot is running at v1.1 speeds?

The GPU is a HD7950 and GPUz picks up that it can support v3.0, but its running at v1.1 speeds.

Now I personally havent noticed any throttling, but benchmark scores are pretty low, so maybe my games arent demanding enough?

Are there any other programs I can test with? Dont really want to rip my WC out just to move the GPU down a slot.
 
When you run the stress test (click the ? symbol next to the PCI speed in GPU-Z), does this bump back up to 3.0?
 
It's normal,click on the ? Mark next to it and click render,it will jump up to pci-e 2 speeds,its just the idle speed
 
There isnt a ? next to it though

In the process of uploading a screenshot if you want to wait for that.

EDIT: Just closed and reopened GPUz and the ? showed up, clicked it and its bumped up to v2.0 agian, but when it closes the render test, it drops back to v1.1. That normal, like your saying wazza?
