odd graphics issues, maybe cpu related?

whilst playing batman AA the game locked up and picture went funny, the bottom left of the screen was in the top right and the top right was is the bottom left. i have also noticed in fifa 11 that the half way line is broken/jagged whilst you are running. havent noticed any issues in F1 2010 though and not tried anything else.
does this sound like a gfx, cpu or driver issue?

Initial thoughts may be graphics, could you take a pic of said screen when the artefacts occur?

What tests have you carried out to narrow down the fault?

will give it a go with screenshots next time i play. im thinking it maybe software related now though. run msi kombustor for 3 hours without any pixalating or over heating, run prime95 for about an hour, but now 3d mark vantage and 11 wont load, say they cant access systeminfo or something.
i had issues with windows 7 not doing sp1 update, so i did a windows upgrade (to repair it) and sp1 then installed, now i cant remember if this problem happened before or after that, but was def around the same time. so im going to try and get the best, stable oc today/tomorrow and once im happy with that will do a fresh install and see if that sorts it.
