So I'm currently running a HIS 7950 BOOST, mostly OK.
I bought 2 more HIS 7950 BOOSTs recently (decided to try Tri-Fire instead of the new AMD cards).
So thought I'd try them out in this PC, to make sure they work and there was no obvious cap whine. So one at a time I switched the cards out and ran Heaven (using the benchmark thread settings). Usually my fps starts at around 20-21fps. On the first new card it started at around 11-12fps (and didn't improve). The second card was getting 5-6fps.
Now they're all the same card (basically, guess there might be a newer revision, but my current 7950 was quite new).
The new cards are hitting 925/1250 clocks and GPU usage is around 98%.
Any idea why the massive performance difference?
