Odd issue playing videos on web pages

Did a fresh install on the rig in my sig last week, the only part that's changed since then is the GFX card. I swapped out a GTX670 for a R9 290.

On sites like facebook and the bbc website im getting a problem where any videos playing are just a green screen with the audio audible. Happens in both IE11 and Firefox. Other sites like youtube seem ok.

Is it a problem with the GFX drivers, im using 14.4

Any other ideas?

Did you remove the old vga card drivers before installing the new ones? Use http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/ to remove all traces of the old driver then install the new

Could it be a flash player issue ? Latest version installed?

He did a fresh install. You don't need to remove the generic Microsoft drivers.

He also said the vga card was replaced after the fresh windows install

Yep uninstalled the NVidia drivers via add/remove programs. Then shut down, swapped cards and installed the amd drivers.

Flash player was my thought too but youtubes fine. Shockwaves up tp date as well.
