Hey guys. I noticed this first when I was playing Quake 4 but put it down to the game not natively suppourting WS resolutions. I then however started playing F.E.A.R. (updated to version 1.08) and I noticed the same thing;
Characters/objects at the horizontal edges of the screen are stretched. For example if i'm looking straight-on at a person they look normal. However if i turn away so they're just in my peripheral vision they get stretched!
I initially thought it was the res but I changed it to 1280*1024 (from my native 1680*1050 on my 2005FPW) and noticed the same thing - just to a lesser extent.
Does anyone know why this happens / have any solutions?
Cheers
