odd lag

this is to do with css:

basically every so often im getting odd lag, this isnt like the usual lag but when it happens its like my internet is disconnect for 0.5-1.5 seconds then comes back.

it affects vent aswell,

it only seems to happen with source though as when it isnt open everythings alright.
no other games seem to do it

my ISP is doing server upgrades atm so my net has been off for a while but this hasnt happened before,

any ideas?

I'm not sure, but your signature might break the rules too. Because though there is only 4 lines of text, the line break makes it 5 lines. I'm not certain however.

And put your email address in your sig. You dont have Trust since your not on MM so otherwise members cannot contact you (unless you dont want people to be able to)... I've had my email on my sig for years and never been spammed from this forum

Holy Thread revival Methanoid? But it seems I've got this exact same problem. It started ever since I installed windows 7 64x, I don't think there was a driver for my wireless at the time so that's what I presumed caused the problem but haven't really bothered to check it out as I don't play CSS as much. I'm sure it messes with Modern Warfare 2 as well. Have you tried any other FPS games?

Are you wired or wireless? Please say wireless so that you're in the same boat as me!

Sorry, was looking at Dubbs posts looking for contact info and thought to point out his sig could be more helpful.

I have no lag issues but I am wired. I'll ask my son as he's the CSS nut in our family
