I bought a Maximus Gene VI motherboard a few years ago. I've recently wanted to add a second hard disk to the setup but can't for the life of me get the bios to detect the disk.
I can plug the disk into any of the SATA ports on the motherboard but nothing is detected. I've tried different working disks, different cables, different ports on the motherboard etc. Nothing seems to work.
The only disk that can be seen is the original which appears immediately and seems to work on all the ports.
Any hints would be appreciated.
