Odd noise

Seems my graphics card fan is making a rather odd noise, it sort of sounds like the fan is clipping a wire or something but after a quick look about there is nothing of the sort close to it and it doesnt happen all the time either.

The card is an Asus GTS 250 with the glaciator heatsink.

Any ideas?

Maybe the fan has moved slightly from it's center spinpoint.
Basically it may have become offset, and when at certain RPM the fan clips the edges of the heatsink.

Happend to my case fan once, would be alright sometimes, but then all of a sudden it would make horrendous grinding noises.

After a few looks at it, the fan had split down the middle, and when spinning at high RPM it caused half of it to offset and catch the sides.

It either could be that or I'm completely wrong in every way.
I'd say spin the fan a few times with your fingers, get the feel and make sure it's not wobbling around on it's motor axel.
