Hi,
I am currently testing exchange and am using outlook as the mail client in a win xp group policy controlled environment. I have the profiles sorted however whenever I start outlook with the policies enabled, it starts up fine but displays a long box with lots of squares in and then an OK button
Also, it won't do send and receive- it says 'Operation failed' and finally, when I close outlook, it says it could not save normal.dot to drive C:\ and then proceeds to open up word to try and save it elsewhere
Now I know that this is being caused by group policies as when I disable them, it all works fine. Does anyone have any idea which policy will cause this? I know it's a longshot but someone has possibly seen this before?
Thanks
Ben
EDIT: I thought it may have been the prevent access to drives policy which I have set up for C:\ but I disabled it and it still does it. I also have no policies controlling outlook yet either- just the default policies
