Odd pc problem - really need some help?

Hi All,
Could someone please offer some advice i am at my wits end with this issue.

Two weeks ago my pc would boot up but would only show a black screen. I came to the conclusion that it could be the gpu. I changed my gpu to another which i know works and no luck same issue.

I then bought a brand new psu, i changed the psu and suprise no luck.

I then thought my motherboard is fried and i bought a new motherboard. Well this is where i thought i identified the problem because finally no black screen but.. it then boot all the way to the desktop, i idiotically moved the tower a few inches and blue screen.

I took apart put all hardware back in and the same damn issue again.

I reboot and then it boot all the way past the windows logo and blue screen.

The other odd thing is when it bluescreens i see a black screen and the pc will not boot up until i leave it several hours or over night then it will boot up to the windows logo again.

Whats going on here?

(I have tried to note the bluescreen but it flashes on and the screen goes black too quickly to register it)

Another thing i have not mentioned is that i have three hard drives and the pc boots off a ssd. I did wonder if it was a hard drive issue? So i individually unplugged each hard drive and booted up but no success

Try a clean install of windows

Hey thanks for posting. I don't believe it is software related. Otherwise it would at least boot up each time, instead it gives me a black screen. I can't do anything then.

But after a long duration of time it will boot up normally again.

ok i would take the whole thing apart ( i know you have done this)

Build it outside the case
reseat CPU
Reconnect and double check all cables
Install fresh windows
plug the monitor into the motherboard no need to plug in your graphics card and saves time(test with after if works )
swap ram around
make sure bios is up to date

Have you tried using different RAM? or if you have a few sticks in the system try using one stick at a time and swapping it over

RAM is a good shout (maybe if you have 2 sticks just try running it with one). Otherwise you could try booting up a different OS via a usb stick. If that does work then it's definitely your windows install/hard drive.
