Odd problem: Alt+Tab stuck looking like XP

Bit of an off one, but my Alt + Tab is stuck looking like XP (Windows 8.1). There's some google results about deleting a reg entry (e.g. http://www.optimizewindows8.net/2014/02/fix-alt-tab-menu-not-working-in-windows-8-8-1) but that setting isn't there for me to delete.

Any ideas? The only thing that might have caused it was me installing the logitech drivers for a G700s, but that could just be a coincidence...

Logitech setpoint/mouse software does have its own app switcher which might interfere. It's fine on Win7 of course. Have you tried uninstalling Logitech's software and rebooting to see if Windows ALT+TAB is restored to normal?

I'll have a go, but I didn't think the gaming logitech software had a switcher?

Neither did I but Windows 8 bugs seem to not abide by logical rules

Uninstalled/Reinstalled to no avail. If I create a windows shortcut to alt+tab it does nothing, but the same shortcut used to pop open the Win8 style alt+tab menu.

I'm using an Exposé clone at the moment which is probably better anyway
