Odd problem maximising Word ... help

When I open Word 2003, for some reason when maximised, the top of the window isn't at the top of the screen, meaning the bottom is cut off. Pretty annoying. Generally I use OpenOffice, so it's not the end of the world, but it's been doing it for a while now - I was kind of hoping it would sort itself out. This only happens with Word - none of the other Office apps do it. Anyone have any ideas what's going on here?

Do you use Word as your default mail editor by any chance?

I do. Closing and restarting outlook stops it happening - it must be a change made when I write an e-mail or something. I never really thought about closing outlook to see if it was that - this PC, with outlook running, has been on for about 20 days, which would explain the problem.

Anyone know of any cures? Although I now know what it is, it isn't fixed
