odd problem when POSTing.

Recently upgraded graphics card to a 2nd hand 780gtx

Worked flawlessly for 3 days very happy.

BSOD last night 3 times in 10 mins - related? maybe? HAL.dll error.

Now when the PC Boots i get "no signal on monitor DVI" until the windows 10 log in screen (5 or so seconds SSD) and everything seems to be ok again.

I cant get into the bios. Im thinking CMOS battery reset.

Any ideas?
 
ok so just got back in and booted PC and it was normal again....

confused/scared
 
You really need to put everything at stock but if you can't get into the BIOS, you will have to pull the battery with the computer completely unplugged and powered off.

Edit:

Before you do that though, make sure you have done a DDU uninstall of the drivers and then reinstalled the last driver that worked with no issues.
